I absolutely love Bowen Therapy and I highly recommend it if you suffer pain that is not resolved through traditional therapies.

Shelagh has a beautiful space in the clinic that immediately makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Her gentle technique to the different areas of the body followed by heat and rest in between was very healing for me.

After a few sessions my pain was gone. As she explained to me the body is reset and heals on its own.

I can’t recommend Bowen Therapy by Shelagh enough!! It’s a wholistic approach to relieving pain. Read up on it and give it a try you will be forever grateful you did!!

I’d been having some new muscle pain in my neck and arm and was looking for relief, so decided to try out this gentle technique. Each session involved several relaxing adjustments followed by periods of rest to allow the body to adjust. The responses continued after the sessions ended, reminding me of the relaxation and release I’d felt while in Shelagh’s care. I now feel virtually pain-free, and we have a plan moving forward to address some of the other weak links in this worn-out body. Thanks again Shelagh, my first exposure to Bowen was a great success!

Life would be so different if I hadn't discovered Bowen. When I started working with Shelagh for an old whiplash injury with arthritis from my C5-C7, my pain was a 10 on a scare from 1-10, my movement was minimal, with my hands falling asleep and waking me up at least 5 times a night. The changes in my body just after 3 treatments were significant enough that I have continued on with my treatments, this allowed me to avoid the surgery planned to stop my hands from falling asleep. Today my pain most days is a 0-2, which allows me a much better quality of life with more mobility, and overall well-being. Thanks, Shelagh for helping me out!

I have received bowen from Shelagh for over 2 years now. I am a foot care provider so I am constantly feeling pressure on my neck and upper back. For me, Bowen has literally been a life saver. I started when a very severe back injury did not respond to any other treatments. Bowen resolved the problem. It took some time but my back has never been better.

Bowen has worked for me for other issues. A 30 year old shoulder problem is a problem no more. A sciatic problem is no more. My stiff, sore neck which caused headaches is better. Finally, Bowen has helped my chronic sinus issues.

I can live my life again because of Bowen.
